About Us, T.C. and Nick, the owners of Railway Cottages on Rice Lake, Ontario.

Prior to 2005 Railway Cottages was operated as cottage rental business from the late 1930’s to the 1990’s, at which time it was known as Railway Resort. During the 1990’s the location was not actively used and was sold.

Then in 2004, T. C. and Nick bought the site and put many hours of time, effort and T.L.C. (tender loving care) to make Railway Cottages into the Family oriented vacation destination that you see today.

T. C. and Nick, your hosts, even now are making improvements each year to make your stay here as enjoyable and fun for your family as possible.

Railway cottages also provides a venue for excellent shore fishing opportunities as it is situated next to the Harwood beach and Government Dock which extends out several hundred feet into Rice Lake towards Tic Island.
